It’s hard to imagine any company having a better understanding of the farming community than the St Paul Ernst Hardware store. Since 1912 they’ve been providing all types of farm equipment and implements to the area. They became a John Deere dealer in 1934 and then, five years ago, merged with Fisher Implement to form Fisher-Ernst Group. Today they offer everything from the walk-behind lawnmowers to large combines. Up-to-date knowledge of a myriad of farming needs; including those of the home gardener, dairies, , nurseries, vineyards as well as, grass seed, hops and cane berry farms is crucial to their success. Accurately matching the equipment to the job means customers keep coming back.

Verle Schiebe, Store Manager says, “St Paul is a community of only 320 people, so almost everyone who comes into the store is a neighbor, friend or family member. It really keeps us on our toes because we are completely invested in the success of our customers.”
